Tender Reference: TI-DV-PITL-422
Delivery Timeline:
December 2022 to 31st March 2023
Closing Date:
5:00pm GMT Friday December 9th 2022

Background

InterVision Global Ltd is inviting companies with the right skills and resource to put themselves forward for the immediate development and delivery of four key areas of development:

Software integration between label design software and the Company’s unique label inspection software that is available on the market and branded Perceptor PTXL

Design, development and prototyping of a camera and image acquisition solution for the inspection of thermal printed labels capable of running on an IoT device.

Design, development and prototyping of an IP65 inline inspection and verification hardware solution utilisising Perceptor PTXL software and capable of being rapidly deployed on packaging machines.

Design, development and prototyping of a cross platform mobile application capable of scanning labels and securely integrating with Company’s own Azure Tenancy.

Work Package Requirements

WP1 – To work with the Company to identify and develop a secure working solution to the technical challenges of integrating a desktop application, Perceptor PTXL, with a 3rd party Enterprise label design software product. The current product is a desktop application that utilises an API to connect with Perceptor Cloud in Azure. System relies of a user logging in and using Microsoft AD to authenticate and issue a certificate that an API then uses to securely communicate to Azure. The challenge and requirement for WP1 is to achieve unattended print and inspection without compromising the security of the process flow without the need for a user to log in. Companies applying must have knowledge and experience of desktop applications, API development, IoT and Azure

WP2 – To work with the Company to develop a low cost camera sensor solution for the acquiring and processing of real time images as labels are printed on a thermal printer. Images are captured to facilitate label inspection including OCR, OCV, pattern match, print blemish, ISO code grading etc. Development will include design and prototyping for housing of the camera sensor; label guide development; mounting design; desktop application modifications and enhancements; processor platform development and test; integration and communication with 3rd party printers. Companies applying must have mechanical design and prototyping capabilities and experience, .NET Framework, .NET Core and C# capabilities and experience, testing facilities, IoT knowledge and experience

WP3 – To work with the Company to develop an inline inspection and verification product utilising the Companiy’s unrivalled Perceptor software. Product solution will need to be IP65 and capable of being rapidly deployed on a packaging machine. Development will include Camera housing design and prototyping; custom machine vision lighting development including control logic board; assembly and test; .NET Framework, .NET Core and C# capabilities and experience

WP4 – Development of a free to download cross platform mobile application on ioS and Android (mobile and tablet) for in-field scanning of product identification labels to display label inspection details, date and time of manufacture, product authenticity and capture geolocation. Development will be on application only, all APIs and server side development will be handled by Company. Companies applying must have prior experience of developing a free to download cross platform mobile app using Zammerman or equivalent.

Application Process and Conditions:

Applicants must complete the below form to register their interest to be considered for these development work packages.

Upon receipt of an application the Company will acknowledge receipt of the Party’s interest and forward an Application Qualification questionnaire that will need to be completed for their application to be considered.
